Short Bio

Penn Campus in the Fall

I was born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark. I spent my youth roller-skating and playing drums. Lacking talent for these activities, I turned to philosophy.

After getting my PhD at the University of Pennsylvania, I moved to a post-doctoral fellowship at the Political Theory Project at Brown University, and then took up a position at Suffolk University in Boston.

Here are some pictures of what really matters to me (apart from philosophy and rollerskating). My wife Marie Marbæk Johansen, my tomato-plants, and Christmas with my family in Denmark.
